WinPwn 2.0 Available Now for JailBreak iPhone in Microsoft Windows

Not sure how to jailbreak your iPhone 3G with the PwnageTool 2.0 because you do not have a Mac? WinPwn goes 2.0 now and will let you unlock, jailbreak your iPhone (only support jailbreak for iPhone 3G) with the new firmware 2.0.

Some important notes that you have to read

  • Remove Winpwn 1.0 completely if you have it installed. Installing over the top of WinPwn 1.0 will cause problems.
  • Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes ( Currently 7.7)
  • If you already have service with AT&T do not activate or install Youtube Fix

    I tried to update my 1st gen iphone with 2.0. It just keeps giving me error messages as I try to restore it using winpwn 2.0 for windows. Just some bugs i’ll try again tomorrow…almost there.. thanks guys.

    ya for some reason it doesnt allow me to pwn itunes so everytime i try to update to the custom firmware it gives an error

    i have a question, should i update my iphone to 1.2 then restore or just restore from 1.1.4?

    Yeah it will allow me to pwn itunes but it gives me a error after I try to update the custom fireware.

    I got 160X errors when trying to restore in DFU. Then I followed instructions on modmyifone – you need to uninstall Itunes 7.7 (but leave the apple mobile drivers) and install itunes 7.5 – then pwn the itunes again and then it works!

    Finished the install, everything restored and re-installed except theres no launcher for cydia?? wtf? and the new boot images and startup pics arent on the phone as well.. anyone got any ideas?
