Vodafone today has announced that it will also offer the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS to UK and Ireland, bringing it the third official iPhone provider in Q1 2010. Pricing, tariffs and availability information is not available yet, but this will definitely benefits the consumers with more competition among O2, Orange and Vodafone.

Hi
I just rang up 3 customer services about a query with my mobile tarrif & i also thought i’d ask him a question about the iphone 3GS.
I asked whether they will ever be having the iphone on 3 uk. I couldnt believe it when he said to me that have…i repeat THEY SAID they got them in stock & i would need to speak to the upgrade team for more info. Unfortunately that dept was closed but he told me to try 2mrw morning as they r open from 8am till 8pm. He also went on to say that it wont be on the website as of yet but definitely said it can be available via the upgrade dept.
I shall try again 2mrw and let you guys know the news.
Happy Dee (for now)
Hi Dee,
That’s very interesting news.. What was the outcome of your conversation?
consumers will definitely benefit.. for one O2 doesn’t have a great 3g network so even if prices don’t drop drastically more choice is a good thing
