Vodafone Getting Samsung Galaxy Y

Sometimes this month, both O2 and Three would acquired the Samsung Galaxy W. Now, its Vodafone turns to get the brand new Samsung handset. However, Vodafone won’t be getting the Galaxy W but rather the Galaxy Y. The device will runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS accompanied by TouchWiz UI.

It features a 3-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 832MHz processor, and microSD memory card slot. There are no official statement by Vodafone on the Galaxy Y’s pricing yet. However, the rumor stated that the device will be free of charge with contracts starting at about 20 GBP per month.
