Loading ...Verizon Wireless is going to announce Samsung Glyde SCH-U940 today, which is another slider phone with a horizontal QWERTY keyboard. The fashion Glyde do not support vcast TV though. It will be sold at $249 with a 2 years contract and after a $50 rebate. Check out the product photo shot here.
Other than a full touch screen and QWERTY keyboard, Samsung Glyde also offers a 2 megapixel camera, bluetooth, full HTML browser, microSD card slot and a 240 x 440 pixel resolution display.

Ok. Well i ordered my glyde and it will be here moday but im not to sure if i will like it because there are a lot of good reviews and there are a lot of bad reviews. But i heard it was way to tiny
I purchased the Glyde the day it came out (May 9th) for $299 – $50 Mail-in rebate. Now that the price has lowered to $249 – $50 Mail-in rebate, I took my receipt back to the Verizon store that I purchased it from and they would not do anything about it! Eventually after the manager came out and I let him have it, he gave me a $50 credit on my bill. I wanted the credit back on my credit card, but at least I got something. Good luck to others trying this.

I have the Glyde & I really like it.
It’s a great texting phone but it is kinda weird when it takes pictures..yu take one with a touch button and it is kinda hard. Other than that I like it a lot.
