Loading ...Verizon Wireless and LG today announced the enV2 by LG will be available in April. The successor to the popular enV by LG, the new enV2 gets a makeover with a new slim redesign and sophisticated black or maroon finish.
The enV2 supports a number of features and services that customers have come to expect in wireless phones from LG and Verizon Wireless, including V CAST Music and Video, VZ NavigatorSM, Bluetooth capabilities, dual speakers and a 2.0 megapixel camera. The phone’s spacious QWERTY keypad with large sized external keys makes messaging easy, while its 2.4-inch internal screen offers crisp, crystal-clear videos and images.
Equipped with access to VZ Navigator, which uses location-based services (LBS) to provide audible turn-by-turn navigation and the ability to find more than 14 million points of interest, from ATMs and gas stations to restaurants and tourist destinations. The enV2 by LG also offers the following features and capabilities:
- Wireless Sync E-mail (BREW e-mail Client) capability
- Instant Messaging using AIM, WL Messenger, and Yahoo!
- 2.0 megapixel camera and camcorder:
- Video Resolutions: 320 x 240, 176 x 144 (default) pixels
- Video Player for WMV, MP4, 3GP, 3G2 formats

Hey guys, I just recently purchased this phone as part of my 2-year upgrade from Verizon Wireless and I have to say that I really love it! I’ve only had it for a few days, but I got a really good deal on it [only paid $32] and if you really enjoy texting, this is the phone for you! I can text so much faster than when I was using my basic Motorola Razr V3M! The screen is crystal clear quality and the camera is pretty much basic and takes basic quality pics. I don’t care about that though because I already have a Cony Cybershot digital camera, haha. Um, the battery length is VERY long-lasting compared to my Razr.. I’ve been using it [texting/one long phone call and a few other short calls] for 4 or 5 days now and my battery has only dropped one bar! And that was today [Aug. 11, 2008] so battery life is really good! It has an automatic lock on the front [so if you put your phone in your pocket or purse it won't dial automatically.. lol]. Of course, you can have mp3 based ringtones and all of that good stuff. Pretty much everything listed above is what you get. I got the one in BLACK because I’m not a fan of red/maroon. Some features [like media and internet] I don’t use because I have internet at my house, and don’t want to fork out the extra moola!

This is an amazing phone.. i’ve had it for about a week now and i have not had one single problem with it.. as days go by my typing gets faster and faster on it.
the front screen is kinda small, but that’s okay, just tells you who’s calling.
the camera is pretty decent, and works in a pinch if you’re not fast enough to get out your digital camera.
bluetooth on this thing is unreal.. it connects seamlessly to my computer and transfers my pics as expected.

okay, i have a couple questions about this phone for all of you people who already own it..
1. how many texts messages can it hold in the inbox/outbox?
2. is it easy to type on the keypad on front/back? which one is easier?
3. can it go to web browsing sites like lgforfree to download free ringtones?
4. if not.. is there a program that comes with it to upload and make your own ringtones?
5. do you press the ’send’ button to receive a phone call?
6. are the inside key pad buttons bigger than the samsung double flip? are they flat or easy/hard to push?
7. and FINALLY, has anyone had glitch problems with it so far?
i have the motorola rizr z6 for 6 months and ive had difficulties with it about a month after i bought it.

i personally think this phone suckksss. it’s so crappy that i’m on my third one and my insurance plan ran out :/. and in between them breaking i’ve had a lot of problems with the phone unlocking in my pocket and the front keypad buttons malfunctioning. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE. actually get it if you want to get a phone that EVERYONE has and is bad
