Verizon Gets Motorola Citrus On November 11th

Launched for entry level market, Motorola and Verizon Wireless has launched the Motorola Citrus Android smartphone. The smartphoneis powered by Android 2.1, comes with pre-installed Swype keyboard and Bing Search. It will cost $49.99 (after a $100 mail-in rebate) with a new two years contract.

It features 3-inch touchscreen, rear-mounted BACKTRACK trackpad, and a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor. There’s also MOTOBLUR, Swype and EVDO Rev.A. In the Motorola Citrus, Verizon has replaced Google with Bing’s service.
