Verizon BlackBerry Storm gets official release date: November 4th?

I got this interesting info from BlackBerryCool.com. Aha, the BlackBerry’s first touchscreen is almost exactly one month away? I hope so. The site wrote:

We’re working pretty hard to confirm this right now, but it’s too exciting not to post, and falls in line with what has been reported recently on the blogs. A friendly tipster has been telling us that Verizon has settled on a firm launch date for the BlackBerry Storm 9530: November 4th. This would put the Storm launch two days after Verizon employees complete their Storm training, and right in line with famed rumor-monger Boy Genius’ ‘first week of November‘ time line.

    the cost is said to be either 500 or 600. no there is no getting it ahead of time the only thing you can do is preorder it

    It’s not going to be on T-Mobile, at least for quite some time. The “Storm” is Exclusive to Verizon Vodafone in Europe and Rogers in Canada; like the IPhone is for At&t and the G1 is to T-Mobile. VZW has this one on lock!

    From what I’m hearing the release date is NOV 16th and the price is 399 with a NEW 2 year contract.

    I have heard numerous times that it will cost 199 to compete strictly with the Iphone and not to piss off any Verizon customers. Of course that is with a two year contract.

    The Blackberry storm will be released on nov 14th and run about 200 bucks or so depends on ur status w verizon? No you cant preorder it only over seas. I use to work for vwz like 2 months ago and still get the 411 on stuff from the people i worked with ok. So you all need to chill ok it coming soon enough

    i hate steve jobs for this method rim is using. because of him putting the brakes on the iphone if you have not noticed all of the companies are starting to do that with premier phones. just give a release date so people can get thier money in order damn! is it that hard to ask??

    wow its nov 10th with no release still. wth is going on with your tipster. that training document that was posted needs to be read one more time. because it shows DATE COMPLETED not TO BE COMPLETED BY.
