The first generation of HTC Touch has got its successor today, announced as HTC Touch Viva. The Touch Viva is an affordable touch phone with the new HTC’s TouchFLO, or call it TouchFLO 2D as it would be less 3D effect than the TouchFLO 3D. The Touch Viva will be available in early October 2008 in Storm Gray color.

Although it is classified as an affordable smartphone from HTC, expect it to be priced at least at the mid-range end. The Touch Viva supports Quadband GSM network. It can only do EDGE wireless data connection but with its built in WiFi you can still enjoy a good data connection when you are connected to a wireless hotspot.
