iPod touch 4G was first announced at Apple’s annual Special Media Event in San Francisco. The device will have two cameras which located on the front and back. The front camera is designed for FaceTime calls, 960×640 Retina Display and the back camera is designed to be able record HD video. Unfortunately, the camera on the back can only take still shots at 0.7 megapixels.
Apparently, 9 to 5 Mac has identify that the Retina Display on the new iPod touch 4G does not have the same quality as the iPhone 4G. You can see it for yourself by visiting Apple.com. In the technical specifications of both devices, you’ll notice the Retina Display and Contrast Ratio (IPS) bits which used in the iPhone 4G’s Retina Display that allows the users to view screen from tight viewing angles is not in iPod touch 4G.
