Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD Aka Nozomi Image Caught On Camera

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD which also known as the Nozomi images has been leaked. Previously we have seen the device leak back in August. However, the leaked only stated that the device will acquired 1280 x 720p resolution display. Now we got to see the hands-on images of the Nozomi.

The smartphone features a dual-core processor, and a 720p HD display. It was rumored to get a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and a 4.3″ 1280 x 720p HD display, front and rear cameras. Check out the quadrant benchmark result below. Currently, it runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread but we are pretty sure it would be upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich by the time the device is release.

Sony Ericsson Devoted With Android

A report was made which stating Sony Ericsson will be preparing their Windows Mobile 7 handset. However, the Sony Ericsson CEO, Bert Nordberg assured that they are keeping on the Android handset production.

The company mention that they are supporting and will not neglect the Android OS. Most of us might have know, Sony Ericsson is committed towards Android OS. Therefore, Android fans out there does not have to worry.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray Available For $380 Unlocked

Sony Ericsson Xperi Ray was first revealed in June. The device is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. You can purchase the device via Online electronics megastore NewEgg for $379.99 with AT&T’s 3G mobile bands. However, you can also get the T-Mobile’s Ray version but it would only have 2G data speeds.

The device packed with a 3.3-inch display which has a 854 x 480 resolution. Inside the hood, you’ll see a 1GHz Scorpion processor accompany by an 8 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and 720p video recording.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S Landing In September

Sony Ericsson has just officially announced the successor of Xperia Arc called the Xperia Arc S. The device will be available in UK and other markets near the end of September. It would come in white and midnight blue colors.

The Arc S features a 4.2″ LED screen with Sony’s “Reality Display” and Bravia Engine technology. It packed with a 1.4 Ghz Snapdragon processor, 8.1 MP camera, and Sony is calling 3D and 2D sweep panorama photography. The device will runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Pricing at £350 which fall at $560 US dollars.

Orange Sony Ericsson Xperia Play & White Xperia Arc Spotted In Asia

Both Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Xperia Arc spotted in unusual chasis colors. The pictures below was taken from a Sony Ericsson launch conference in Asia. The Xperia Play is coated with bright orange color, while the Xperia Arc is covered in white color.

There’s possibility this edition only available in Asia or only in selected regions if it’s ever hit U.S. As for specs, it would be pretty much the same as U.S version.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Unlocked Version For US Now On Sale

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc finally hit U.S in unlocked version. The device packed with Android 2.3 a.k.a Gingerbread. It got a 4.2-inch Reality Display and Qualcomm’s 1GHz MSM8255 processor.

Aside from all those, the Xperia Arc features an 8-megapixel camera on the back, Adreno 205 graphics, and 512MB of RAM. The handset will cost you $599 without any commitment. There’s no further details on whether any carriers in U.S will pick up the Xperia Arc.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini And Mini Pro Now Official

Today Sony Ericsson has officially announced both the Xperia Mini and Mini Pro. Apparently, they are the smallest HD smartphone in the world. Both are running on Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread. The Xperia Mini is a full-touchscreen while the Xperia Mini Pro has slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Featured 3-inch scratch prove touchscreen with 320 x 480 resolution, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 320MB of storage, a microSD card slot (2GB included), and a 5-megapixel camera (comes with autofocus, face-detection and an LED flash) on the back. There’s also quadband GSM/EDGE, UMTS/HSDPA, WiFi, AGPS, Bluetooth, an FM radio and a 3.5mm headphones socket.

The Xperia Mini and Mini Pro will be available in August 2011. The Xperia Mini comes in white, black, blue and dark pink. On the other hand, the Xperia Mini Pro will be in white, black, pink and turquoise.

Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman Phone Comes With Android OS

Sony have announced Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman Phone. The device runs with Android as it’s operating system. Unfortunately, the W8 will only get Android 2.1 aka Eclair.

The device outer physical form is very similar to the Xperia X8. Except Its just a bit smaller and packed with Android. If you are interested in the W8, you can head to the Sony Ericsson W8 product page or the Xperia Blog.

Sony Xperia Neo Launch On April 19th

Recently all the attention have been shifted toward Xperia Play and left its cousin, Xperia Neo unnoticed. However, it seems the Xperia Neo is ready to take the spot light this month. The device will be launch in Europe on April 19th.

It will cost you £299 + VAT. Although the Neo is not a “Playstation phone” but it acquired a great features which are Sony’s Exmore R screen with Reality display and Mobile Bravia engine. The handset packed with Gingerbread and get an 8MP rear facing camera.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play & Xperia Arc Up For Pre-Order Via Rogers

Rogers is now offering both Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Xpria Arc for pre-order. Pricing at $99.99 with a three-years contract. There’s no details on its full retail price without contract.

The pre-order for the two handsets will be terminates on May 2nd. We speculated that’s the day of Xperia Play and Arc’s launch date. Rogers is going to carry the Xperia Play in two different colors which are white and black.
