Nokia Lumia 800 To Be Launch In US On February 14th

Nokia Lumia 800 will be making it’s entrance to US on February 14th. It seems like they are trying to targeting the Valentine’s shoppers. Microsoft to be offering the device in a special bundle available only from Microsoft’s retail stores.

The bundle will includes a Nokia Play 360 Wireless Speaker, Purity HD Stereo headset, and an in-ear Bluetooth headset, aside from the Nokial Lumia 800 itself. You can get the offered for $899 contract-free. Unfortunately,the device won;t be sale separately from the bundle.

Nokia Officially Unveiled Lumia 900 LTE For AT&T

Nokia has officially announced the Lumia 900 LTE. The device will be exclusive under AT&T. It has a 4.3-inch AMOLED WVGA display and runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.

The Lumia 900 packed with a 1.4GHz single-core processor. You can expect a 8-megapixels camera on the back. Along with Carl Zeiss f/2.2 optics on the new Lumia, and a front camera has an f/2.4 lens. Unfortunately, AT&T and Nokia has not said anything regarding the release date aside from “in the coming months” as well as the pricing.

Windows Phone Marketplace has ‘Nokia Collection’ section now

Windows Phone Marketplace is rolling out a Nokia-only section, dedicated to owners of Nokia’s Lumia devices. First spotted in France by Professor Thibault, The Verge reported, but one of the site’s readers commented that he/she already noticed this a few months ago.

It’s said the Nokia section has five apps: Nokia Maps, Contact Transfer, WRC Live, TuneIn Radio and App Highlights.

Windows Phone Marketplace hits 50,000 apps

Windows Phone reached a key milestone this week. Microsoft’s Windows Marketplace now has more than 50,000 apps. Of these, 17,276 were added in the last 90 days and 8,010 were added in the last 30 days, All About Windows Phone reports.

Though still far behind iOS and Android in terms of number of apps, it seems that Windows Phone is trying to catch up their rivals. For instance, Windows Phone just took 14 months to reach 50,000 apps, while Android took 19 months and iOS took 12 months to cross 50,000 apps mark, concludes eWeek.

Nokia Has Begun Shipping The Lumia 710

Nokia has begin to ship their second Windows Phone 7 device, the Lumia 710. Previously, the device was announced at Nokia World in October. It would cost you €270 pre-taxes and subsidies ($362).

The Lumia 710 packed with a 3.7-inch WVGA ClearBlack display, 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, and a 1.4GHz single-core Snapdragon processor.It also features 512MB of RAM and 8GB of user storage. Nokia would add WP7.5 Mango with its own apps, Nokia Drive and Nokia Music, offering turn-by-turn directions and free streaming music respectively.

Nokia Champagne Spotted In Windows Phone App Logs

A mysterious Nokia device was spotted on Windows Phone app logs called “I’m a WP7″. The device was named the Champagne. It will sports Windows Phone 7.10.8711 OS.

This indicates the Champagne will features Tango OS. Aside from this information, we have little info in our hand. However, from what the rumor said, Nokia is planning to unveil some of its U.S.-bound Windows Phones at CES which will be held in January.

Acer Allegro Windows Phone Handset Coming To France

The Acer W4 was first revealed in IFA 2011. The device is heading to France as the Allegro. Priced at €299, it features Fast Charge which let the device get juiced up to 2.5 times faster than other Acer’s product.

The Allegro has a 3.6-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display, 1GHz single-core Qualcomm MSM8255 CPU, 8GB internal storage, 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1,300mAh battery. It comes with white and dark blue iceberg colors. The Allergo coming to France in mid-November.

Nokia 800 Features Windows Phone OS Ads Leaked

Thanks to Pocketnews, we get to see Nokia’s first Windows Phone device advertisement. In the ads, it refer to Nokia 800 which we suspect to be the Nokia Sea Ray. One of the ads state that the handset will features a 8-megapixels camera.

As you can see below, the Nokia 800 comes in blue color which means the device will be typical Nokia’s playful and fashionable style. We might be able to see the device very soon in London since its when the Nokia world will be held on October 26th.

Samsung Omnia W Running Windows Phone 7.5 mango

Samsung announced the Omnia W. The device packed with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. It has a 1.4GHz single-core processor and a 3.7-inch WVGA Super AMOLED panel.

The Omnia W features 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, VGA resolution front-facing camera, and a 5-megapixel main camera with autofocus and an LED flash. As for the connectivity, it has dualband 900/2100 HSPA and quadband GSM/EDGE, along with WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1.

Nokia Windows Phones Shipping In Q4

We are wondering if Nokia will ever launch their Windows Phone handset. However, we heard several rumors confirming the WP device for Nokia. Compal will make 2 million phones for Nokia which confirmed by Stephen Elop.

Now, to asure all of us, Nokia has posted a tweet where they are confirming the Windows Phone will be ship in fourth quarter this year. After hearing this news, we should wait patiently and see if it really comes true.
