O2 UK Start Offering HD2 Today

O2 has announced the HTC HD2, which will land in UK today and available for free on certain O2 Pay Monthly plan. The HD2 packs in a massive 4.3-inch touch screen, fast processor and camera with LED flash into a package just 11mm thick and weighing in at 157 grams.

The HTC HD2 is powered by a 1Ghz processor and has built in Wi-Fi, GPS, and FM radio. It has YouTube, Facebook and Twitter integration and a MicroSD card slot for expandable memory, as well as a standard 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth and microUSB charging port.

You can buy an application directly from your PC, though it still have to be downloaded from your Windows phone by launching the Marketplace software on your phone. You can actually browse through all the applications in Marketplace without signing in with your Live ID. HTC and Dopod Introduces Its First TD-SCDMA Smartphone T8388 Qilin with Mobile TV

Available from China Mobile, HTC and Dopod is delivering their first TD-SCDMA (China’s 3G service) compatible smartphone called Dopod T8388 Qilin this month with the new Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. Other than 5 megapixel camera, WVGA touch screen, WiFi and GPS, the T8388 has a built in TV antenna so that it could receive the China Mobile’s digital TV service.

Its TouchFlo 3D user interface also comes in slightly different layout. The TouchFlo 3D has a smaller clock on the home page, and you are able to add 8 short cuts under the clock as quick application launcher. Dopod T8388 Qilin will be one of the TD-SCDMA smartphones offered by China Mobile from November 15th this month.

HTC HD2 Promotion Brochure Discovered

Preparing for its launch in UK, hard copy material has been found with HTC HD2 printed, bringing the 4.3-inch multimedia smartphone closer to official announcement. First identified as HTC Leo, the HD2 will feature a newer TouchFLO 3D version(Manila 2.5), comes with twitter, facebook and other improvements on the user interface. In some applications like photo album, the HTC HD2 will also support multitouch for zooming action.

Supporting a WVGA resolution, the upcoming HD2 should comes with 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, 320MB RAM, 512MB ROM and a microSD card slot. It should be announced in October, earliest by October 6th which is the official Windows Mobile 6.5 launch schedule.

Right after the quality leaked HTC Leo from ai.rs, techblog.gr has posted a quick hands on on the first Windows PHones that comes with a capacitive touch screen. The blog has confirmed that it will support multi touch with its 4.3-inch display, plus it will be named HTC HD2 as appeared on the bluetooth setup wizard. Rumor: HTC WhiteStone Going to Verizon Wireless as HTC Imagio

We all knew that HTC and Verizon Wireless is working on WhiteStone for its subscribers. BoyGeniusReport has just got a tips from their source that the Windows Phones will be announced and available from October 6th, which is same as the official Windows Mobile 6.5 launch schedule. The WhiteStone will be officially named HTC Imagio, comes with 3.6-inch WVGA touch screen, 528MHz Qualcomm CPU, autofocus 5 megapixel camera and supports GSM/CDMA network for global roaming. While chinatimes has reported another HTC Desire for Verizon Wireless, BoyGeniusReport said it is the HTC Predator and will be announced in October too. The company is introducing the Omnia Millionaire Pack II in Netherlands, comes with a Omnia II 16GB version, additional leather case and magazine subscription voucher. Leaked HTC Leo Gets a Video Walkthrough

Wow wow, as the next big updates to the HTC Touch HD, the unannounced HTC Leo is now available in a high quality photo gallery and a nice walkthrough video. The ai.rs has again confirmed the multi touch capability on this giant Windows Phones. This could be the first Windows Phones using a capacitive touch screen! The HTC Leo is also coming with a new version of the famous HTC’s TouchFLO 3D (Manila 2.5), added with program shortcut on the home screen, footprint tab, social network integration and new icons design.

Powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm 8250B CPU, the new TouchFLO 3D is very responsive to finger touch with no delay. While it is not sure that HTC Pro Three will be its actual name, we are definitely happy to see a dual flash LED added to the 5 megapixel camera module. Check out the video below.

Rumor: HTC Leo Supports Multitouch?

Will the HTC Leo become the first Windows Phones with capacitive touch screen and supports multitouch? Although there is no indication on the previous leaked info, a video from PocketPT.net is demonstrating a multitouch capable application with the upcoming HTC Leo (HTC Pro Three). According to the source, the zooming feature with 2 fingers can be used when viewing pictures, reading emails or within the Opera web browser. Check out the video here.
