T-Mobile UK has confirmed that it will offer the HTC Touch HD2, due on November 9th as noted on its product page with wrong info about the Windows Mobile powered phone. If the HTC Touch HD2 could use the Android Market, that will be really the biggest boast for the HD2. [via modaco]

Available from China Mobile, HTC and Dopod is delivering their first TD-SCDMA (China's 3G service) compatible smartphone called Dopod T8388 Qilin this month with the new Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. Other than 5 megapixel camera, WVGA touch screen, WiFi and GPS, the T8388 has a built in TV antenna so that it could receive the China Mobile's digital TV service.

To coincide with the release of Windows Mobile 6.5, Toshiba UK announces the retail availability of the TG01 Windows phone, a variant of its innovative TG01 featuring the new Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. With a series of new Windows Phones announcement this week, Sprint and Samsung has also announced the new Samsung Intrepid for Sprint CDMA network in US. The Intrepid is in candybar design, comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, bluetooth, 3.2 megapixel camera and a 2.5-inch QVGA touch screen.

Fresh from the launch event, Chris Davies @ SlashGear has posted a hands on video on the new HTC HD2 with Windows Mobile 6.5. The 4.3-inch ultra thin body looks a little too big to carry around or handle with single hand, but it is indeed a very nice move to use a capacitive touch screen.

With the debut of the Windows Mobile 6.5, HTC has made its new HTC HD2 official and will be available this month. The company TouchFLO 3D is now called HTC Sense which integrated more functions and social networking capability with the user interface without going into Windows Mobile's menu.
