White BlackBerry Bold 9900 Available Via Vodafone

Vodafone announced that they will be the exclusive UK stockist for the white BlackBerry Bold 9900. The device is free with £39, 24-month price plans includes 1000 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of mobile data.

The White Bold 9900 features a 1.2GHz processor, BlackBerry 7 OS, a QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen controls, and also boasts NFC capabilities. Also, there’s a 2.8-inch display, with a 640×480 resolution, QWERTY, 8GB of internal storage (can be expand 40GB with microSD). The camera is a 5-megapixel one with 720p video shooting features.

Vodafone UK Now Offering Samsung Galaxy Y

Samsung latest smartphone called the Galaxy Y has appeared at Vodafone stores. The device is a slightly better in specs and several other aspects compared to the the Galaxy Mini.

It packed with a 2 megapixel camera, a 3-inch touchscreen, an 832MHz CPU, Bluetooth, 801.11 b/g/n WiFi, and GPS. The Galaxy Y will runs with Google’s Gingerbread OS. You will have to pay £10.50 per month.

Vodafone Offering Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray For Free

Vodafone has officially taking orders for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. It comes with a two-year 26 GBP/month contract, which includes 300 minutes of talk time and half a gig of mobile data per month. This means you can get the device for free.

The Xperia Ray features a 3.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera on the back, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 1GHz processor, GPS, Bluetooth and a memory card slot. As you can see for yourself, the device can be considered mid-range handset.

Vodafone Getting Samsung Galaxy Y

Sometimes this month, both O2 and Three would acquired the Samsung Galaxy W. Now, its Vodafone turns to get the brand new Samsung handset. However, Vodafone won’t be getting the Galaxy W but rather the Galaxy Y. The device will runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS accompanied by TouchWiz UI.

It features a 3-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 832MHz processor, and microSD memory card slot. There are no official statement by Vodafone on the Galaxy Y’s pricing yet. However, the rumor stated that the device will be free of charge with contracts starting at about 20 GBP per month.

Vodafone Offered The White Galaxy S II

So far, we have only seen the original or so-called black color Galaxy S II. However, the device is now covered in white. The white version of the Galaxy S II is heading to UK’s carrier, Vodafone.

You can get the device for free with a two-years agreement and £36 per month price plan. Unfortunately, we do nor know if the white version of the Galaxy S II will be available in US.

Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman Available Via Vodafone

Aside from the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, Vodafone is launching the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman. As a matter of fact, the device is now on sale in UK. The device was first announced back in June.

Priced at £90 as a Pay As You Go handset, including £10 top up. The device packed with a 3-inch 400×240 screen and supports SD cards for memory. It has a dedicated buttons called Zappin key. This key will shows you the chorus of the next song. Aside from that, there’s also the in-built karaoke function.

Vodafone 555 Facebook Phone Available Now

Vodafone budget Facebook handset is now available for sale. The device was announced back in July. Priced at £62.50 which equivalent to $102 for SIM-free.

It has a full QWERTY keyboard and 2.4-inch non-touch display. The Vodafone 555 will let you synch Facebook news, photos, chat, messages and contacts over EDGE. Since it’s a Facebook phone, it has Facebook dedicated button like HTC ChaCha. It will allowed the users shared the picture that was taken by the phone’s 2 Megapixels camera.

Vodafone Comes Up With Facebook Phone Called “555 Blue”

Vodafone has comes up with a device featuring the most popular social network, Facebook. The handset will be known as the VOdefone 555 Blue. It will only cost you under €100 (£88/$145) on a prepaid tariff.

The 555 Blue is a QWERTY candybar handset with a 2.4-inch non-touch display and a dedicated Facebook button. Aside from those, there’s also a 2-megapixel camera with an LED flash, a microUSB port for charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD slot that can be extended up to 16GB cards. Unfortunately, there won’t be any 3G, GPS, and WiFi. It will available “soon” in Europe.

Vodafone Decided To Ditch HTC EVO 3D

This morning Vodafone has just announced that they will dump the HTC EVO 3D from their line-ups. Mainly because they are scare the device will be delay in GSM’s version and caused damaged in rivalry with other devices. This might be a bad news for some people.

Here what Vodefone spokeperson have to say, “We’ve decided that due to delays to the launch of the device, we no longer plan to include the EVO 3D in our smartphone range. We will be contacting customers who have registered for updates about the device to make them aware of this decision shortly”, he also added, “We realise this will come as a disappointment to some people but we already offer some fantastic phones, like the HTC Sensation and Galaxy S2, with some really exciting handsets in the pipeline.”

Orange To launch Stockholm

Orange is adding another Android smartphone to their Android line. The device is Huawei U8160 which will be known as Stockholm. Vodafone has managed to launch the device as the Vodafone SMART.

The device packed with a 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 528MHz processor, 256MB of RAM coupled with 512MB of ROM, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack and a microSD card slot. Compared to the Vodafone version, the Stockholm received an upgrade in Camera. The device has a 3.2-Megapixels camera instead of 2-Megapixels camera. Orange will offered the Stockholm with contract and without it. Pricing is to be announced.
