Vodafone’s got a specialized line-up of devices for their wireless carrier. While they have the normal line-up of devices as well, Vodafone 360 offers up a far more personalized approach to the mobile industry. It’s basically a set of Internet services, all designed to bring things like your contacts, music, favorite websites, games, and photos all into one place. In doing this, Vodafone chooses certain handsets to make the cut, which will showcase these features. As of right now, the H1 and M1 have all launched since the end of 2009, when 360 launched. And now it looks like it’s time for another one.

The Samsung i8330 isn’t actually official by any means, and leaked images of the new device showed up over at Samsung Firmwares, but even they don’t have any new information regarding the future handset’s release. They do have it on good word that the i8330 is going to be Vodafone 360′s newest release, and it will get a name change over to H2 before it launches.

The best feature, hands down, is the Super AMOLED display. Unfortunately, while the H1 isn’t selling all that well for Vodafone, it looks like the wireless carrier is going to keep to the mobile Linux Operating System (OS) they have on their other 360 devices. It may not be as appealing as Android, or widespread as Symbian, but obviously Vodafone believes it has a place in the mobile industry. As soon as we know more about this device, we’ll bring it to your attention.

LiMo Foundation announced the launch of the first LiMo Release 2 (R2) handset that supports the brand new Vodafone 360 service with Samsung H1 (Vodafone 360 H1) and Samsung M1. The Vodafone 360 H1 by Samsung comes with a 3.5” WVGA AMOLED display, 16GB internal memory, 5 megapixel camera, WiFi and features including 720P HD video recording as well as exclusive Vodafone services. The Vodafone 360 service includes a universal contact list that integrates information from address books within various services, and a 3D zoom feature that enables users to browse through their latest interaction in chronological order. More details on Vodafone 360 including device and service specifications can be found through Vodafone at www.vodafone360.com.

Samsung H1 / Samsung M1

The Vodafone 360 service is automatically backed up and synchronised, regularly and wirelessly, between the mobile and PC or Mac. All contacts updates, emails, photos and conversation history or settings changes made either at home or when on the move are saved, keeping all the content up-to-date.

“Vodafone 360 is the first service of its kind to offer customers the benefits of a truly integrated mobile internet experience that gathers all their contacts and content, all around them, in one place,” said Pieter Knook, Director of Internet Services at Vodafone Group.

At launch four Nokia Symbian smartphones will come pre-loaded with Vodafone 360 and part or all of the service will be downloadable to over one hundred popular phones. In the coming months Vodafone will be making the service available through as wide a selection of handsets and operating systems from multiple manufacturers as possible.

The 2009 launch in Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the UK will be followed by launches in a number of other countries in 2010, including India, Turkey, South Africa, New Zealand and Romania and in France through SFR. through MTS in Russia, and through Vodafone Hutchison Australia.
