Video: Nokia Booklet 3G Unboxing

Powered by an Intel Atom processor, Nokia Booklet 3G is available soon with the support of 3G/ HSPA and Wi-Fi connection. It can deliver up to 12 hours of battery life with a 1.25 kg body. Check out SlashGear unboxing video here.

First impressions are pretty good, certainly when it comes to the physical build of the Booklet 3G. The whole thing is sturdy and compact, with only the plastic lid insert – black on our version, but available in different (though not user-interchangeable) colors – letting things down slightly. The keyboard is compact but the keys seem to have decent tactile feedback; we’ll have to see how frustrating the incredibly glossy glass display ends up.

HTC HD2 Hands On Video

Fresh from the launch event, Chris Davies @ SlashGear has posted a hands on video on the new HTC HD2 with Windows Mobile 6.5. The 4.3-inch ultra thin body looks a little too big to carry around or handle with single hand, but it is indeed a very nice move to use a capacitive touch screen.

According to Chris, the HTC HD2 will first available in UK and Europe this month. It will be launched slowly through out the whole Asia by the end of the year. Good news is that the HTC HD2 will also be available for US users, which will be available around Q1 2010.

Samsung i5700 Galaxy Lite Leaks in Lime Green!

Different from what we saw in the previous leaked photo, the Samsung i5700 Galaxy Lite is leaked in a fresh color design. According to ai.rs, the production unit might not include the lime green design but instead use a more conservative colors. The Samsung i5700 will comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, 1GB internal memory and microSD card slot. Check out the hardware preview video here!

Android Community unboxed the HTC Hero with Sense UI overview

After their first HTC Hero hands on video from the HTC press event last month, Android Community has got a review unit from the HTC and here is a nice unboxing video plus a Sense UI overview done by Chris. With its 3.2-inch HVGA display, the HTC Hero boasts a broad variety of hardware features including a GPS, digital compass, gravity-sensor, 3.5mm stereo headset jack, a 5 mega-pixel autofocus camera and expandable MicroSD memory.

Other than the new Sense UI, the web browser on the HTC Hero supports flash animation. You will be able to view YouTube videos using Flash technology, and enable full screen viewing mode by simply double tapping the screen. Watch the unboxing video embeded below.

Video: Sony Ericsson Custom UI for Android Smartphone

Just like what HTC is doing, Sony Ericsson is creating their own user interface on top of the Android OS, which is rumored to be used on the company first Android smartphone called Rachael. The leaked video is certainly not showing the final version. It consists of different tabs at the bottom of the touch screen and integrates well with social networks like facebook and twitter. Nokia to Announce New Rugged Phone Soon

For those who need a rugged phone, Nokia is announcing a new model soon according to Nokia Conversations site. The site is previewing the rugged phone with a series of test videos: What we’ve come up with are a series of videos showing off our experiments, and the results. The first two are live today and we’ll be revealing more over the coming days. We kicked things off (quite literally) with what we thought would be a gentle test, the traditional rugby kick. We didn’t quite figure on Mike’s lofty left foot though. Watch the video below to see what happens.

Need an affordable smartphone with QWERTY keyboard? PhoneMag has done a hands on video with initial impression on the new T-Mobile Dash 3G, which is also called HTC Snap in other regions. Compare to the Dash 3G’s predecessor, the Dash 3G has a trackball at the middle instead of the 4-way navigation keys. Video: New HTC TouchFLO 3D Manila 2.5 Leaked

HTC is set to released a new version of its TouchFLO 3D, which has been demoed on the video below. The Home tab has got 3 program shortcuts added, and more shortcuts can be accessed by pressing the more arrow. HTC has also built in more features to the Settings so that you can handle more tasks with its interface alone! The ROM has not been leaked to the public yet, it is currently able to use on WVGA devices only according to the source.
