Verizon Wireless and iSkoot today announced the availability of Social Beat, the free social media application that allows you connected to popular social media sites, including Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Social Beat also displays more than 50 customer-selected feeds from the hottest names in news, sports and entertainment sources, which can be viewed in one central location.

Verizon Wireless' stores will open early this Friday (Nov. 6) for the launch of Motorola Droid to the mass. Some stores will open at 7 a.m. and others at 8 a.m. You can check your local stores for their opening hours.
