Chris Davies from SlashGear get a chance to do unboxing on the Samsung Galaxy S II. But he has to ride inside a 300bhp Subaru Impreza and on top of that in high speed.

Amazingly, he managed not to drop the Galaxy S II. But he said

In the end, I lost all the accessories – and most of the packaging – over my shoulder during the very first turn, but managed to just about keep a grip on the Galaxy S II itself

Verizon HTC Thunderbolt Unboxes by Wirefly

Verizon HTC Thunderbolt pre-production model was unboxes by Wirefly today. The device was packed in a black boxes which take quite an afford to open up. Inside it, you can pretty much figure it out easily. It filled with the device itself, charger, manual, and battery.

The device packed with a 4.3-inch LCD screen with 480 x 800 pixels, a 1Ghz processor, a 1400 mAh battery, a 8 megapixels camera with dual LED flash on the back, a 1.3 megapixels camera on the front for video chatting, and Android 2.2.1 (Froyo).

Amazingly, the device will shipped with a 32GB microSD card rather than 16GB. There’s a kick stand which similar to Sprint EVO 4G. You will see HTC Sense Interface when you activated the Thunderbolt.

HTC HD2 Gets Sold in Vancouver Days Before Launch

When it comes to street dates, we’re positive that it’s not only the bane of consumer’s existence (after all, who likes to wait?), but also those of the employees at establishments that have to wait to sell it. Especially considering there’s a lot of levels of management to go through, like at Walmart for instance, where you have to know every single release date of all those movies, games, and whatever else be laying in the back room. It’s crazy! So what happens when someone screws up and breaks a street date? Well, you’ll see.

Thanks to JDMiPhoner (a former iPhone fan, apparently), he was able to walk into the local Walmart up in Vancouver, Washington, and purchase an HTC HD2 for T-Mobile USA. Yeah, we’ve talked about it before, and it’s definitely the real deal. While we normally wouldn’t post something of this nature, considering that in most cases it’d be heresy, but we’ve got video proof this time. JDMiPhoner went home, and did the standard unboxing video. And, as he puts it, it is indeed the first consumer unboxing of the HTC HD2 for T-Mobile USA. Congratulations, JDMiPhoner.

The HD2 is set to launch on the 24th of this months, so it’s not like it’s weeks in advance, but as anyone who pays attention knows, street dates are taken very seriously. So, let’s hope that no one at Walmart sees the video who has the capacity to fire an electronics employee. Because if they do, well, you can fill in the blanks. Is anyone out there going to run out to their Walmart and see if they can score the device, too? Let us know how it goes!

Virgin Mobile USA announced today its title sponsorship of the upcoming Britney Spears concert tour. In conjunction with sponsorship of the “Circus” tour, Virgin Mobile USA plans to launch its new Ocean 2 multimedia device. The new Helio Ocean 2 will still be a dual slider phone, with the ability of sliding side way or down that gives you a numeric keypad or QWERTY keyboard. The new dual slider will comes with 1GB internal storage, microSDHC card slot, 3 megapixel camera and an web browser that support flash video.

The White iPhone 3G Unboxing: Not the Best Color Design

While most of the Apple product are nice in white color scheme, the white iPhone 3G only get the sexy part on its back cover. When you are looking at the white iPhone 3G from the front, it actually looks like the black iPhone 3G. Turning to the back view gives you a nice white shiny cover, but from the side view it is just weird. Check out the photo gallery inside.
