Palm today announced that its Treo Pro smartphone is now available at TELUS in Canada. Treo Pro offers TELUS clients simplicity and productivity – including TELUS mobile email, TELUS Navigator, Wi-Fi, web and 3G network capabilities(1) – to meet the needs of businesses and consumers alike.

With Treo Pro, users can open ZIP files, edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents and view PowerPoint presentations and PDFs. It is compatible with System Center Mobile Device Manager 2008, which allows IT professionals to manage Windows Mobile phones similarly to how they manage PCs and laptops, adding value to mobile enterprise solutions.

Palm today announced that Treo Pro by Palm is now available in Brazil on the Vivo network. Sprint to Start Selling Palm Treo Pro from March 15

Palm and Sprint have announced the upcoming availability of the Treo Pro smartphone for the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network on March 15. Treo Pro will be available through all Sprint retail channels for $199.99 with a two-year subscriber agreement (after a $100 instant rebate and $100 mail-in rebate, with an Everything plan with data or a $30 per month or higher data add-on). It also will be available through the Palm Store (www.palm.com/store) and Palm’s B2B sales organization beginning March 16.

Treo Pro supports Sprint’s Mobile Broadband Network, has built in Wi-Fi, GPS and powered by the Windows Mobile 6.1. The one-touch Wi-Fi button provides a clean, uncluttered Wi-Fi experience that gets Treo Pro users rapidly connected at home, in the office or in Wi-Fi hotspots.Treo Pro offers integrated GPS, enabling Sprint Navigation with turn-by-turn directions, maps and point-of-interest searches for locations such as restaurants or stores. Palm Treo Pro Now Available in US

Palm today announced that the unlocked Treo Pro smartphone is now available in the United States. Treo Pro is the latest smartphone from Palm, comes with built in Wi-Fi, GPS and UMTS/HSDPA network capabilities. Treo Pro is unlocked, giving end users the flexibility to simply insert their existing active SIM card and immediately start using their Treo Pro anywhere there is GSM coverage, without a new contract.

Treo Pro is now available for a suggested retail price of $549 through the Palm online store and its reseller. The Treo Pro smartphone comes with a power charger, microUSB cable and a stereo headset (3.5mm). Other accessories designed exclusively for Treo Pro (sold separately) include a vehicle power charger, leather side case, travel microUSB cable, cradle, extra battery, TTY audio adapter, and replacement styli.

Treo Pro will be available from Vodafone and O2 in Europe and from Telstra in Australia, also will be available in an unlocked version in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific.

The U.S. version is unlocked and unsubsidized. Detailed regional pricing is available from local resellers and distributors. Additional Treo Pro availability is scheduled to follow worldwide.

Other than the accidentally releases of press photo shots, slashgear has released an official video demonstration from the company. The Treo Pro will be powered by a 400MHz CPU, it is going to have a 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM and a 320 x 320 resolution display screen. Watch the video after the jump.

After the few Treo Pro leaks on the internet, it looks like Palm is going to announce Treo Pro today. Although there isn’t any press releases issues to us at the moment, official press photos of the new Palm Treo Pro has been sent out from some PR representative. Together with the accidental flash demo leaked on the Palm website, one of the largest Treo community forum has posted a massive photo gallery of the Palm Treo Pro, previously known as Treo 850w. The Treo Pro will be powered by a 400MHz CPU, it is going to have a 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM and a 320 x 320 resolution display screen. Enjoy the Treo Pro photos after the jump!

The photo set also included a size comparison with Palm Centro, the Treo Pro should be slimmer in terms of thickness.
