The Behold II looks similar to Samsung i7500, comes with a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen, TouchWiz user interface with widgets on the home screen. <p>Launched first in Europe, one million of the touch screen devices were sold in the first month and a half alone, after which the company expanded sales efforts to include markets in CIS, Southeast and Southwest Asia, East-Central Africa, China, and Central America.</p>
<p>“We’re very pleased by this success,” said Young-hee Lee, Vice President of Marketing, Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics. “We see the demand for touch screen phones increasing and we will continue to offer consumers a diverse range of products, supported by unique marketing campaigns.”</p>
<p>The Star was launched as an affordable mobile phone, appealing to young consumers with its slim, 11.9 mm body and 3-inch WQVGA touch screen. It also boasts high-tech features such as Samsung’s exclusive high-quality sound technology, DNSe, as well as a SmileShot-enabled camera and Bluetooth v2.1.</p>

It is not sure that if it will integrate with the TouchWiz UI or just a standalone UI, the 3D cube will give you the access to multimedia, web, picture and program shortcut page easily. The Samsung Tocco Lite has enhanced social media features , which uses online widgets to keep your Facebook status up-to-date, log on to your Myspace page or browse YouTube for the latest videos. You can also tag photos of your contacts on the device, as well as uploading your photos to social networking sites from the phone directly.</p>

Note that Samsung is still running the Omnia HD promotional website <a href="http://omniahd.samsungmobile.com/" target="_blank">here</a>, and it was still using the <a href="http://www.businesswire.com/portal/site/google/?ndmViewId=news_view&amp;newsId=20090331005587&amp;newsLang=en" target="_blank">Samsung Omnia HD </a>branding last week at CTIA Wireless.</p>
