Texas Instruments Uncovered dual-core, 1.5GHz OMAP4440 processor

Today, Texas Instruments has just unveiled their OMAP4440 Processor. The new processor is a dual-core Cortex A9-based processor which compatible with 1.5GHz. TI state that the speed increased will effect a 30 percent decrease in webpage load times, 1.25x better graphics performance, and 1080p playback that’s twice as fast as the 4430.

Texas Instruments Introduces Single Chip A-GPS, Bluetooth and FM Radio

Texas Instruments announced its NaviLink 6.0 (NL5500) solution, a single chip solution that combines assisted global positioning satellite (A-GPS), Bluetooth 2.1 and ultra FM receive/transmit capabilities.
