In the process of upgradint their Next G network to 21 Mbps downlink, Telstra Australia starts to offer the new Next G Turbo 21 Modem across the country. The new modem supports download speeds ranging from 550kbps to 8Mbps, giving its subscribers a faster wireless connection.

Marking the second anniversary of the opening of its Next G HSDPA network, Telstra is on schedule to deploy the Enhanced HSPA (eHSPA) to the Next G wireless network. Once the upgrading is completed, Telstra network will be able to offer a peak downlink speeds of 21Mbps by the end of the year to its Australia customers.
