Similar to the first HTC Android phone, it is renaming the HTC Hero to T-Mobile G2 Touch. The smartphone is offered free if customer signed a 18-month service contract at £40 per month. <p>T-Mobile customers have the opportunity to pre-order myTouch, in limited quantities, beginning today at http://www.T-MobilemyTouch.com. myTouch will be available nationwide at T-Mobile retail stores and online beginning August 5 for $199.99 with a two-year agreement.</p>
<p>Also called HTC Magic, the myTouch 3G is the second Android smartphone from HTC. The latest HTC Hero might not be available for T-Mobile subscribers, according to <a href="http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/T-Mobile-USA-just-says-no-to-the-Hero-article-a_5914.html" target="_blank">T-Mobile&#8217;s CTO</a> Cole Brodman.</p>
