Nokia President Chris Weber explained, “when we launch Windows Phones we will essentially be out of the Symbian business, the S40 business, etc.,” He added, “The reality is if we are not successful with Windows Phone, it doesn’t matter what we do (elsewhere).” Overall, Nokia is trying to focus on Windows Phone production for North America. On top of that, Weber also said Nokia’s San Diego facility will be behind the first batch of Windows Phone 7 devices that it will launch.
