Nokia has been busy promoting their Windows Phone devices recently. However, the Finnish company are also planning to released Symbians handset. According a “trusted source” of BGR’s, the handset will be called Nokia 803 and it will be the last Symbian handset made by Nokia.
On Thursday, Nokia unveiled their newest Symbian Belle-powered smartphone called the 603. It comes with NFC support and targeted for first-time smartphone users. The device comes in white and black color but you can get colorful battery cover.
Nokia announced several of their latest devices during the IFA 2011. The devices includes 701, 700, and 600. A video comes up on Nokia’s 700 models and a Nokia handset that we haven’t seen before appears.
If you can recalled, on Monday, Nokia comes up with a countdown for the Symbian Belle. The new three Symbian Belle phones will be The Nokia 600, 700, and 701. The Symbian Belle will have a new customization, resizeable live widgets, and new apps that take advantage of an integrated NFC chip.
Several Nokia devices has received the Symbian Anna updates. Those devices includes the N8, C7, E7, and C6-01. The Symbian Anna features a new, portrait orientation soft-keyboard, better iconography, boosted browser, and the split-screen text entry. Aside from those, the Nokia C7 NFC’s chip is now activated.
Nokia U.S. President, Chris Weber was interview by AllThingsD’s Ina Fried and he mention that the company will stop their selling of Symbian smartphones and its S40-based feature phones in the U.S. market.
Nokia newest device has just passed through FCC and there’s possibility the device is also know as Nokia 700 Zeta. The device pictures and details was leaked recently. It was rumored to be running on the Symbian Belle.
Nokia X7 is now available in Three stores. We sure known that Nokia is jumping ship to Windows Phone operating system instead of Symbian. However, it doesn’t mean Three would stop supplied the Symbian handset.
As most of us might have known, Nokia decided to added extra girly color for the Nokia N8. The device is now comes in hot pink color for the ladies. Nokia has just comes up with the pink N8 commercial.
According to Nokia Conversation blog, the Finnish company will be launching a pink N8 smartphone. There are no further details on when the device will hit the market and what kind of Symbian OS will the device get.
