Sony Nypon To Be Realesed As Xperia P

Last week a leaked picture of Sony’s android device which is LT22i model. The device received a codenamed Nypson.However today GSM Arena reported the Nypton will be release as Sony Experia P.

On the other hand, aside from leaked picture of Nypson, there’s also a leaked picture of Kumquat. The handset may be labelled the Xperia U when it release. The Nypson will be one of the very first device to be launched without Ericsson branding. As for it’s features, the Nypson packed with a 1Ghz processor and qHD display.

Sony Ericsson Nozomi Another Image Caught In Wild

Approximately a month or so, the Sony Ericsson Nozomi images was leaked. Now, another image of the device was captured. This time it’s showing off the 4.3-inch 720p display.

According to the rumor, the device sports a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU. There’s no further news regarding the handset. However, CES 2012 is up ahead and we would assume the Nozomi will be announced over there.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD Aka Nozomi Image Caught On Camera

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD which also known as the Nozomi images has been leaked. Previously we have seen the device leak back in August. However, the leaked only stated that the device will acquired 1280 x 720p resolution display. Now we got to see the hands-on images of the Nozomi.

The smartphone features a dual-core processor, and a 720p HD display. It was rumored to get a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and a 4.3″ 1280 x 720p HD display, front and rear cameras. Check out the quadrant benchmark result below. Currently, it runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread but we are pretty sure it would be upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich by the time the device is release.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Hitting All Sony Ericsson Smartphones This Year

Sony Ericsson announced that all their smartphones will receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The company posted on Facebook the list of devices that would get the update which are Xperia Play, neo, neo V, mini, mini pro, Ray, Pro, active, arc and arc S.

The Android 4.0 is optimized enough to be able to run on phones with a single-core 1GHz processor. While Sony Ericsson is busy preparing their updates, HTC is busy deciding whether they will use Android 4.0.

A report was made which stating Sony Ericsson will be preparing their Windows Mobile 7 handset. However, the Sony Ericsson CEO, Bert Nordberg assured that they are keeping on the Android handset production.

The company mention that they are supporting and will not neglect the Android OS. Most of us might have know, Sony Ericsson is committed towards Android OS. Therefore, Android fans out there does not have to worry.

Sony Ericsson Xperi Ray was first revealed in June. The device is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. You can purchase the device via Online electronics megastore NewEgg for $379.99 with AT&T’s 3G mobile bands. However, you can also get the T-Mobile’s Ray version but it would only have 2G data speeds.

The device packed with a 3.3-inch display which has a 854 x 480 resolution. Inside the hood, you’ll see a 1GHz Scorpion processor accompany by an 8 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and 720p video recording.

Most of us might have know the newest Sony Ericsson innovation called the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman. The handset is running Android as it’s operating system. It has been torn-down on FCC.

The device packed with a 5 megapixel camera on the back, a VGA camera on the front, a 3.2-inch 480 x 320 pixel resolution TFT LCD display, a 1.2 or 1.5 GHz single-core processor, and Sony Ericsson-specifically optimized apps and sound-related features. It would be launch by the fourth quarter of 2011.

AT&T is finally getting the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G. The device will be available on September 18th. It would cost you $49.99 with a twp-years agreement.

The Xperia Play 4G has a 4-inch 854×480 display, 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, and Android 2.3.3. Aside from those, it features an exclusive “stealth blue” color scheme, a Sony Ericsson Multimedia Dock, and music cable. The device will be preloaded with the following games:

Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman Available Via Vodafone

Aside from the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, Vodafone is launching the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman. As a matter of fact, the device is now on sale in UK. The device was first announced back in June.

Priced at £90 as a Pay As You Go handset, including £10 top up. The device packed with a 3-inch 400×240 screen and supports SD cards for memory. It has a dedicated buttons called Zappin key. This key will shows you the chorus of the next song. Aside from that, there’s also the in-built karaoke function.
