Branching out from the Cyber-shot camera series, Sony Ericsson today introduces the Snapshot series with the new Sony Ericsson S302. The S302 introduces a premium looking, yet affordable phone with a snapshot camera at-hand when needed.

With a 11 mm thickness body and high gloss finish, the S302 looks and feels as good as the photos it’s capable of taking. When your picture didn’t come out as you wanted it to, you can use the Photo fix software to improve it. The affordable S302 camera phone comes with a 2 megapixel camera, 20 MB internal memory, support Memory Stick Micro and Bluetooth connection.

The S302 Snapshot will be available in Crystal Blue and Thunder Grey in selected markets from Q4 2008. The S302 (and S302c for China markets) will support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.

Rumor: Upcoming Sony Ericsson S302 in Snapshot Series

For the coming Tuesday press announcement, Sony Ericsson is launching their Snapshot Series with the S302 camera phone. The S302 will be a cheaper camera phone. It comes with a 2 megapixel camera and support GSM Quadband network.

Although it is mainly for camera snap shot, the camera module do not support auto focusing. It does comes with a flash LED and you would be able to use the camera in landscape mode. The Sony Ericsson S302 should be available in Q4 this year in Europe and Asia.
