Known for its rugged phone series, Sonim Technologies has announced its latest rugged phone called “Sonim XP3300 Force”. The new rugged phone inherits the ruggedness feature from its other siblings. It is IP-68 rated and protected against water / dust, salt, fog, humidity, transport shock, and thermal shock.
YouPoC today announced that it is the exclusive distribution partner for Sonim Technologies Push-To-Talk (PTT) solution. YouPoC will also be offering Sonim’s range of Xtreme Performance (XP) rugged mobile phones, the XP1 and the recently-launched XP3 Enduro. Through the YouPoC service, project managers and office-based staff across multiple locations can communicate directly with teams of up to 50 remote workers at the push of a button without the need to deploy expensive Private Mobile Radio networks.
Sonim Technologies announced that it will embark on a partnership with Land Rover, which includes the launch of co-branded mobile phone products as well as an eco-friendly packaging. Two co-branded phones will enter the market by mid-2009 – the Land Rover S1 by Sonim and Land Rover S2 G4 by Sonim. This will be followed later in the year by the launch of a third Land Rover phone. Sonim and Land Rover will co-market the phones to top operators, mobile retailers and consumers in a staggering 40 countries.
Sonim Technologies has announced the latest addition to their Xtreme Performance Series, the Xtreme Performance 3. Sonim XP3 has a more rugged specification than the XP1 and can withstand more shocks and drops than its predecessor. Most importantly, the phone can be fully submersed for 30 minutes within one meter of water. In addition, the XP3 boasts an IP-57 rating and is designated with a Mil-Spec rating of 810F against salt, fog humidity, transport and thermal shock.
