AT&T Getting Samsung Captivate Glyde

We have heard many rumors regarding the Samsung Captivate Glyde. As you can see below, the device is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Captivate Glyde is heading to AT&T and will be released around Q1 of 2012.

The device features a 3.5-4-inch, QWERTY slider, an 8 megapixels camera, and Samsung’s Sense UI. No words on pricing yet.

Verizon Getting Samsung Stratosphere 4G LTE Slider On October 13th

Samsung Stratosphere 4G LTE Slider is coming to Verizon on October 13th. We have seen plenty of pictures and leaks on the device. Unfortunately, we have not received any news on the device pricing.

The Stratosphere is a mid-range Android handset. It features a 4.0″ AMOLED Display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 1.0 Ghz single-core Samsung processor, and 5 MP camera on the rear. The device is similar to Samsung DROID Charge with a smaller display and a hardware keyboard.

LG myTouch and myTouch Q For T-Mobile Now Official

T-Mobile stated that both LG myTouch and myTouch Q is coming “in time for the holiday season” which is around November 2nd. Both devices are the first myTouch handset that was not made by HTC.

Both myTouch and myTouch Q running on android 2.3 Gingerbread. It packed with a 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel cameras with 720p recording capability, and T-Mobiles’ HSPA+ “4G” network. There’s also a 3.8-inch slate phone with a Swype virtual keyboard for the myTouch, while the myTouch Q is a slider with a full QWERTY keyboard and a 3.5-inch screen. The myTouch also features a front-facing camera with Qik integrated.

Samsung Stratosphere 4G LTE More Leak

We have heard and seen the Samsung Stratosphere. This is not the first time we saw the Stratosphere. It has a QWERTY slider handset.

The handset will be another mid-range android smartphone. However, the good news is that the handset possessed Verizon 4G LTE. It runs on Android Gingerbread. It features 4.0″ AMOLED display powered Galaxy S just like previous models only it has a QWERTY keyboard and LTE.

Rogers Getting Samsung Galaxy S Glide QWERTY Slider

Rogers is getting the Samsung Galaxy S Glide QWERTY Slider. Honestly, that’s one of a long name for a smartphone. The device is currently available for folks in Canada only.

The device features an 4 row slide-out QWERTY keyboard. There’s also dedicated home, menu, back, and search buttons on the outer edges. It has 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a 4.0″ AMOLED display (no 4.3 or 4.5″ here), an 8 MP camera on the rear with LED flash, and a 1.3 MP camera around the front. The Glide runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and powered by Samsung’s Touch Wiz UX. Pricing and availability is tba.

Sony Ericsson SK17i Caught in The Wild

A Chinese website have managed to took some snap shots of the successor of Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro. As you can see on the image below. The handset will be power with Android 2.3.

The SK17i will received a codename “Mango”. It has unfamiliar homescreen compared to both X10 and X8. There are no further information on the handset but we’ll keep our eyes on it.

RIM BlackBerry 9800 Heading to AT&T?

Ah, rumors. Yes, we love them! This time around, we’re getting a little more info on the BlackBerry 9800, or as we like to call it, the Slider. Rumors has it that it may be heading to one of the largest wireless carriers here in the States. But, what makes it really interesting, is the competition that it may be facing in time of its own launch.

The BlackBerry 9800 Slider, according to a new report, is apparently being handled on the GSM side of things now (contrary to our main theory that it was heading to Verizon Wireless sooner than later), and AT&T is pinned as the carrier of choice. The odd thing is, AT&T is apparently getting ready to launch it next month, which you probably already know is the main launch pad for another high-profile device: Apple’s iPhone. And, we all have it on pretty good theory that the iPhone HD will indeed launch some time in June.

AT&T have apparently managed to grab the portrait slider, touchscreen device for an unknown exclusive period. Meaning no other carriers are going to be able to launch their own branded model. Rumors are suggesting that the period is anywhere between three and six months though. Furthermore, Sprint is apparently going to launch it next, which means you shouldn’t expect it until about the fourth quarter of this year. So, if all of this is true, then the biggest news out of this is that BlackBerry 6 will be making it to market in just about a month, which is pretty exciting. BlackBerry T Coming Next Month, Could be the Slider

Here we are again, folks. We’ve been down this path before. We’ve seen the device in a screenshot or two, and we’ve even heard that it’s got a model number after all. So, what’s the big deal about this mysterious BlackBerry slider now? We think it might have been confirmed. And, no, not by some guy on the street (he’s a very good source!).

The slider has been one of those devices that’s been rumored, whispered, and talked about for a little while now. Dating back to when the original Storm launched (we know, it pains us to talk about that one, too), there has been talk of Research In Motion bringing out something completely different. If a CEO of a RIM parts manufacturer is to be believed, then that device, known as the “T” (or Talladega) may be coming next month. Thanks to joins.com, where the interview was posted, the Canadian-based company is priming this device to be the proper iPhone competitor that the original Storm should have been.

While we would say that getting this kind of language from a CEO would instantaneously mean that the phone does indeed exist, that may only be half right. After all, the “T” may be something completely different, and not the slider at all. The rumors have been collecting though, and they all seem to be pointing in the same direction: T. Let’s just hope there’s definitely still going to be a CDMA and GSM variation.

Rumor: New Sony Ericsson W395 Walkman Phone

Codename Yao, a new Sony Ericsson walkman phone has been leaked on a chinese website today. The slider phone should be W395, comes with a dual speaker design, 2 megapixel camera, 2-inch display screen with 176 x 220 pixels, bluetooth and memory card slot. According to the source, the W395 does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack as well and will be announced in either February or March.
