Nokia N86 Coming to US

The 8 megapixel camera phone, Nokia N86, is confirmed to be sold in US soon according to Nokia. With a 2.6-inch AMOLED screen, the Nokia N86 8MP is preloaded with Ovi services including Ovi Maps, N-Gage and Ovi Files. The Nokia N86 8MP will be available for $558.00 through Nokia Flagship Stores in the coming weeks.

Nokia N86 Start Shipping

Announced in Feb this year, Nokia has announced that its Nokia N86 is now shipping globally with an estimated retail price of EUR 375 (around 475 USD), before taxes and subsidies. The Nokia N86 has a wide-angle Carl Zeiss optics, able to produce up to 8 megapixel photo. The device also offers a 2.6-inch QVGA OLED screen with scratch resistant hardened glass, A-GPS, 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM Radio receiver, easy photo management, full sync capability with a PC and TV-out support for slide shows.

Motorola W7 for China?

Is Motorola seriously planning to release this on China market? The unannounced Motorola W7 has just got China’s telecom certification (like FCC certification), featuring a slider form factor, quick access buttons below the display screen and a 2 megapixel camera. According to the source, the Motorola W7 is specially made for China’s 3G network, comes with a 2.2-inch QVGA display screen, secondary video call camera, microSD card slot and built in FM Radio receiver. It is certified on April-1st and will be available in May next month.

Nokia 8208 CDMA Dual Slider Got FCC Approval

Announced earlier this year for CDMA network, the Nokia 8208 has just got FCC approval, possible for a US CDMA provider like Verizon Wireless to offer this? The dual slider is currently available in some countries.

LG Secret Going to AT&T as LG CF750?

According to the approval documents from FCC, the LG Secret is being prepared for AT&T in US, featuring a fashion design in a slider form factor. Both AT&T and LG have not announced the LG Secret for AT&T yet. The documents has indicated AT&T software features like AT&T GPS, AT&T Music, MEdia Net and MEdia Mall. The slider should have the same specs as last year releases, including a 5 megapixel camera, bluetooth, office document viewer and DivX playback.

Samsung Launches B5702 Dual Sim Slider Phone

Samsung today announced the Samsung B5702, a dual sim ,dual-standby mobile phone that allows users to operate two SIM cards in one mobile phone simultaneously. The GSM Quad-band phone provides two LED lights that indicate which SIM card is being used by an incoming call, and the interface can be personalized with various themes, melodies, and screensavers to recognize quickly which SIM card is in use. By using the dedicated hot key on the side of the phone, users can easily switch between the SIM cards without rebooting the phone.

The Samsung B5702 also boasts various multimedia functions including an audio player that supports various formats, video recording, a 3-megapixel camera, and an FM radio with Radio Data System (RDS) function. Samsung B5702 will be launched in several markets including in Russia in May 2009.

Motorola ZN300 is Semi Official, Website Online

With the leaks of Motorola ZN300 early this year, It looks like Motorola is getting ready to announce the slider phone soon. Official website of the Motorola ZN300 is now available here, which also stating few details specifications of the phone.

ZN300 supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900, CDMA and TD SCDMA network, comes with a 3 megapixel camera, 8MB built in memory, microSDHC card slot, QVGA resolution display screen, and has built in bluetooth, FM Radio receiver and opera mini. Its built in application will also allow users to do blog publishing directly with just one click. It is not sure if the ZN300 is a china-only model but we should see the official press release soon.

Today Nokia announced a new Nokia 8208 phone for its CDMA markets outside the US. The Nokia 8208 features a smooth, dual-slide form factor, and packs a dose of entertainment with its MP3 music player and 3 megapixel camera. It provides easy access to tunes through the phone’s dedicated music buttons, where music can be played for up to 20 continuous hours.

For easy music storage, a 16GB external memory card slot holds up to approximately 4,000 songs in AAC+ and MP3 digital music formats.
