Vodacom, Tracker and Sierra Wireless has launched a SIM card with vehicle tracking capability, based on the inSIM® technology from Sierra Wireless. Sierra Wireless’ inSIM embeds the SIM function into the Wireless CPU at the component level, eliminating the use of the traditional plastic SIM card thus reducing the ability for third parties to tamper with the SIM card.

Sierra Wireless today introduced the new AirLink Helix line of integrated 3G wireless routers. The first router in the Helix family will feature two Ethernet ports, two USB ports, and an optional 802.11 b/g access point.
