Although the steps are not as simple as over-the-air push, Microsoft and T-Mobile has posted a detail instructions to download your SideKick's contact as a CSV file from T-Mobile website. The CSV file will then need to be uploaded / import to your SideKick from the Sidekick Desktop Interface.

For those SideKick users who have a data loss since last week, Microsoft has released an updated statement on the recovery progress. The company is finally working on restoring personal contacts this week, follow by a restoration for the rest of the content (photos, notes... etc) if everything goes well. Available today from T-Mobile USA, the new T-Mobile Sidekick powered by Danger allows consumers to upload personal photos from their Facebook page, or other similar sites, and use graphic designs to create their own shells.
