Samsung has finally put up the SGH-i617 (BlackJack II) rom update page again to upgrade your Windows Mobile to the latest version 6.1. The rom update requires Microsoft Activesync 4.5 and involves installation of extra samsung modem drivers. The upgrade instructions page is long, but detail enough for you to go through step by step.

Samsung has confirmed that the company will start selling the Samsung i8510 through a partnership with The Carphone Warehouse in early September 2008. This will be the first 8MP camera-phone to launch in the UK market. Although it is only confirmed for UK market, you should be able to see it in other countries in September too.
