Samsung has confirmed that the company will start selling the Samsung i8510 through a partnership with The Carphone Warehouse in early September 2008. This will be the first 8MP camera-phone to launch in the UK market. Although it is only confirmed for UK market, you should be able to see it in other countries in September too.

With the earlier releases of Samsung Omnia in white, Samsung has also posted a new software updates for the Omnia i900. It is not sure that if the software updates can be used for Omnia in other countries, the upgrade is currently listed only for Singapore country. After the upgrade, the software version should be i900DXHG4

Although the white Samsung Omnia SGH-i900 is said to be available this weekend in Singapore, a forum member from ppcsg forum has already bought a white unit from Samsung Flagship store in Singapore today. According to Sharon, the white version also comes with a white stylus to match the color. Check out a few photos posted by her.

CNet Asia has some sweet info on the Samsung Omnia SGH-i900 windows mobile smartphone. New Samsung Omnia in white color will be released in Singapore this week. The changes is only applied to back cover though, the front panel still remain the same color and design.

In preparation for a major update in the next two weeks, Sprint has released a small update for Samsung Instinct. According to the source, the software update will do some updates to the Samsung ROM - the base code that the applications run on so that the phone will be ready for anotherĀ round of application updates in early August.
