Samsung Introduces Samsung Jet with 800 MHz CPU and Cube UI

Supporting multi tasking and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Samsung has just announced its new full touch screen phone called Samsung Jet. The Jet is powered by a fast 800MHz processor, it is used for the new TouchWiz 2.0 UI with 3D media gate UI and motion-response UI, smart unlock, customizable widget screen. The 3.1-inch touch screen is an AMOLED display, supporting 16M colors and WVGA resolution.

The Dolfin Web browser lets users surf the net and access popular websites, especially social networking sites, with ease and speed. The 5 mega-pixel camera, built-in GPS, DNSe & SRS Sound Effect technology for superior sound quality, and DivX and XviD video support for hassel-free video downloading and viewing.

Leaked 3 weeks ago, the unannounced Samsung S8000 Cubic has got more info available through the Euroset.ru pre-order page. The online retailer was accepting the pre-order of Samsung S800 for about 480 euro, though the pre-order page was removed not too long after reports on few blogs. Other than the 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, the full touch screen phone is using a 3.1-inch AMOLED display screen. The display screen supports up to 16 million colors with WVGA (480 x 800) resolution.

The Samsung S8000 Cubic will also comes with built in FM Radio, microSDHC card slot, 2GB internal memory, 3.5 mm headphone jack, WiFi, GPS and bluetooth.

Rumor: Samsung S8000 A Cheaper Ultra Touch?

While the new Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch is available soon in some countries this week, King Mobile has leaked a few photos of a new Samsung full touch screen phone. Called Samsung S8000, it looks like a S8300 Ultra Touch variant, which will be priced lower as it comes with a 5 megapixel camera module compare to the 8 megapixel camera on the S8300. The Samsung S8000 also has a much larger answering call buttons, including the hexagonal button. Detail specifications has not been revealed, check out more leaked photos inside.
