The new Samsung i8000 does have impressive features. It gets a 8.1 megapixel camera, dual flash LED, 30fps VGA video recording, 3.7-inch AMOLED touch screen and WVGA screen resolution. The user interface will not get a fresh design. It will still come with the TouchWiz UI, with probably more widgets at the sidebar.

The source at mobil.it mentioned that the AMOLED touch screen will support 16 million colors, though it is known that Windows Mobile can only do 65k colors? The next Samsung press event is coming up on June 15th, that should be the possible official announcement date for this i8000.
