Samsung today announces that its Galaxy handset (i7500) is now available on the O2 network in the UK through the O2 network. Releasing soon in Europe next month, the new Samsung i7500 Android smartphone has just been found in FCC device database. The approval has also included T-Mobile network band, indicating a possible release on T-Mobile network soon.

Not available before June, one lucky guy from Vietnam has got a working Samsung I7500 Android smartphone on his hand. A brief hardware walkthrough video is available, showing the overall I7500 hardware design. The Samsung I7500 is running the latest Anroid OS 1.5, which has virtual QWERTY keyboard for text input.

With the limited choices on the Android smartphones available on the market, a new rumor has suggested the Samsung I7500 to be the first Android smartphone from Samsung. According to Bild am Sonntag, the I7500 Android smartphone is confirmed to be released on O2 network.
