The new Sagem Porsche Design P’9522 featuring a 5 megapixel camera, comes with built in WiFi for wireless internet access and GPS for map navigation and geotagging your photos. The 2.8-inch full touch screen is powered by Sagem’s Touch UI. Instead of using the touch screen for text input, you can use the physical numeric keypad below the screen. A fingerprint scanner is embeded nicely between the display screen and numeric keypad. You can add a security protection with the fingerprint scanner to prevent unauthorized access to your data.

Although it will be sold at around 600 euro, half of its first Sagem Porsche Design phone, it will only connect to GPRS/EDGE network. The company believes that the built in WiFi is enough for users who need mobile internet access.

The phone was announced in 2007 and available since September last year.

The Porsche Design P9521 is definitely not small, with a size at 140 grams and 91 x 48 x 18.4 mm. It has a twistable screen, which can be used as a view finder for the 3 megapixel camera. A finger print scanner has been integrated below the screen. It should be the first phone that let you use the finger print scanner as a button to take photo. The finger print scanner will detect your finger when you press on it, hence activate the action to take the snapshot.

The white edition will be available in Taiwan from May at about 2000 USD.
