Virgin Mobile USA announced today its title sponsorship of the upcoming Britney Spears concert tour. In conjunction with sponsorship of the “Circus” tour, Virgin Mobile USA plans to launch its new Ocean 2 multimedia device. The new Helio Ocean 2 will still be a dual slider phone, with the ability of sliding side way or down that gives you a numeric keypad or QWERTY keyboard. The new dual slider will comes with 1GB internal storage, microSDHC card slot, 3 megapixel camera and an web browser that support flash video.

Rumor: First Motorola QWERTY iDEN Phone: Motorola i465

If you are using the Push-to-talk service, rumor from Engadget that Motorola might released its first iDEN handset with QWERTY keyboard. The Motorola i465 is said to have bluetooth 2.0 in a candybar body. Not to be an expensive phone, the i465 comes with a VGA camera for simple snapshot. Detail specification and availability is not revealed for the time being.

Is HP iPAQ 900 Series Smartphone for ATT?

FCC has just unveiled a new HP iPAQ smartphone for the 900 series this week. The FCC documents do not reveal its model number and carrier info, but it might be the HP iPAQ 910 for AT&T network.

Will a typical Blackberry messaging phone design, the new iPAQ smartphone has a QWERTY keyboard and a complete wireless solutions. With the 900 series smartphone, you can use the phone in most part of the world with the support of GSM Quadband (850/1800/1900/2100) and HSDPA (850/1900/2100). Other features include the GPS, WiFi, bluetooth, microSDJC card slot, 3 megapixel camera and 2.5-inch QVGA screen.

The HP iPAQ 900 Series Smartphone will be loaded with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional when available, it is powered by a Marvell PXA270 420MHz processor. You can now download a copy of the draft manual from the FCC site too.

Verizon Wireless and LG today announced the enV2 by LG will be available in April. The successor to the popular enV by LG, the new enV2 gets a makeover with a new slim redesign and sophisticated black or maroon finish.

The enV2 supports a number of features and services that customers have come to expect in wireless phones from LG and Verizon Wireless, including V CAST Music and Video, VZ NavigatorSM, Bluetooth capabilities, dual speakers and a 2.0 megapixel camera. Verizon Wireless and Samsung announced the Alias by Samsung will be available in mid-April. The successor to the Samsung SCH-u740, the Alias sports the familiar dual-hinge design but is packaged with an updated easy-to-read full-QWERTY keyboard. In addition to sending text messages, customers can use Wireless Sync, Verizon Wireless’ proprietary personal information management solution, to synchronize their phones with their home or office PCs for easy access to e-mail, calendar, contacts and task information.
