Verizon Wireless and HTC today introduce the Verizon Wireless HTC Ozone, a re-work of the HTC Snap entry level smartphone. The HTC Ozone will be $49.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. It will go on sale from June 29th online and will be available in your local stores from July 13th.

AT&T and Motorola today announced Motorola Karma QA1, a basic messaging device with homescreen access to Facebook and MySpace. Available from June 28, it will come with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, crystaltalk, 3.5mm headphone jack, 2 megapixel camera, and 3G network supports. Users can also access AT&T Navigator, powered by Motorola Karma’s built in aGPS for turn-by-turn directions.

For those users who wanted a GSM Palm Pre, the first GSM WebOS smartphone might be the Palm EOS / Palm Pixie leaked previously. These codenames are found in the CDMA Pre's ROM with codename Pixie and Castle (for AT&T). The Pixie should be available in second half of this year.
