Qik has announced that its live mobile video streaming service now supports another 27 windows mobile smartphone in the market. With Qik’s free service, users can stream video live to the Internet in just two clicks from their mobile phone. Owners of the above devices can get Qik by registering at http://qik.com/.
Just one week after Qik release its new J2ME video streaming software, they have now released an alpha verfsion of BlackBerry client. The software works best under the latest BlackBerry OS 4.5, supports the BlackBerry Pearl 8120, BlackBerry Pearl 8130, Blackberry Curve 8320/ 8330 and BlackBerry Bold. Qik, a free live video streaming service for users to stream live video to the Internet with their mobile phone camera, will be included with the new Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone. Their application will not be pre-installed to the list of applications, but can be easily activated in the Download! folder. Check out the announcement video here.
Qik, the free live video streaming service, is now available for more Windows Mobile devices. Qik had previously announced Qik alpha version for Motorola Q and Samsung BlackJack in June. In the past few days the team has added quite a few Windows Mobile devices to their support list.
Qik is demonstrating their next support for the Apple iPhone. Once they complete the development, you will be able to stream live video to the Internet using your iPhone camera.
