Both Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Arc will be available via Rogers on April 28th. Unfortunately, we haven’t heard anything regarding the handsets pricing. But now thanks to folks from MobileSyrup, we have some details on it.

Both devices priced at $99.99 with a three-year commitment. The wireless company also offered them for $449.99 on two-years contract. If you just want to go on one year agreement, Roger will gladly serve you with $499.99. But, in case you don’t want to get tied down by contract, the device available for off-contract on $549.99.

RadioShack Offered Motorola ATRIX 4G For Cheaper Price Compare to AT&T

We have heard that Motorola ATRIX 4G is hitting AT&T retail stores in February 22nd. As for the pricing, AT&T is offering the device for $199.99 with a new two-years contract. But RadioShack is lowering that pricing for the same deal.

RadioShack is cutting $50 off the price that AT&T offered their customer for ATRIX 4G. That means, those who interested in this device will only have to pay $150. RadioShack is also cutting $20 off for the laptop dock.

French Mobile Market Creates 100,000 Jobs

French’s mobile telephony market has created at least 100,000 direct and indirect jobs. According to the French Association of Mobile Operators, invesment in this sector has reached €33 billion, while the size of the market reached almost €22 billion in 2007.

French mobile phone users are getting better deals than British, German and Spanish subscribers as a result of cut-throat competition and regulatory pressure, according to a report.

The country is also already preparing for next-generation networks, known as 4G, and will allow users to benefit from connection speeds of almost 100 MB/s, by 2011-2012, compared with approximately 3.6 MB/s for current 3G networks.

France Telecom is also investing heavily in research and development, with a budget of €600 million allocated to 4,200 researchers and engineers. The presence of international companies that have chosen France to set up industrial or research facilities – including Motorola, Nortel, Hitachi, Texas Instruments and LG – demonstrates its attractiveness to the sector.
