			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: left;">Less than one month after we <a href="http://www.slashphone.com/rumor-next-palm-webos-device-called-palm-eos-305640" target="_blank">heard</a> about the Palm Eos for the first time, a new <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/05/24/palm-eos-on-track-for-atandt-release-second-half-of-2009/" target="_blank">powerpoint slide</a> has again stated a 2009 launch for the second new Palm smartphone. Codename Palm Castle, the Palm Eos is not confirmed to be running WebOS and does not have a slider like the Palm Pre. It is in candy bar design, comes with QWERTY keyboard, 2.63-inch touch screen, 2 megapixel fixed focus camera, 4GB internal storage, Bluetooth and A-GPS. It is expected to be offered by AT&amp;T in second half of this year.</p>

Unlike the Palm Pre, the GSM Palm EOS is like the traditional Treo design. It has a QWERTY keyboard below the touch screen but is much slimmer than the Treo smartphone series. According to the source from <a href="http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/04/30/palm-eos-super-thin-3g-and-headed-to-atandt/" target="_blank">Engadget</a>, the Palm EOS has a codename Castlen and is actually the successor of the Palm Centro.</p>
