Palm Pre to Launch in Mexico with Telcel

Palm and Telcel today announced that the Palm Pre phone is scheduled to be available Nov. 27 in Mexico on the Telcel network. Palm Pre, which is currently available in North America (United States and Canada) and Europe (the UK, Ireland, Germany and Spain), features a 3.1-inch touch screen, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack and a physical keyboard that slides out only when needed.

Few months after the CDMA version launched on Sprint network, the Palm Pre for GSM network is finally launched and offered by O2 in Germany. It is available for 481 euro without contract, with optional add-on of value added services like data plan. Alternatively, the company also offers a 24 months installment with 20 euro monthly payment.

The Palm Pre was the first webOS smartphone, it will also be offered in UK via O2 this week (October 16th) according to the pricing list below.

Finally, the lauch date of the Palm Pre GSM has been announced week, which will be sold by O2 in UK from October 16th next month. The Palm Pre was the first webOS smartphone, it is already available in US via Sprint in CDMA version.

Palm Pre is free to O2 customers taking out a 24-month contract and to customers taking an 18-month contract at £44.05 or £73.41 per month. All customers will receive unlimited UK data browsing over O2’s HSDPA network and unlimited access to 7,500 Wi-Fi hotspots through both The Cloud and now BT Openzone.

Rumor: O2 Germany to Sell GSM Palm Pre Soon?

Although the GSM Palm Pre was spotted in early this year during the Mobile World Congress, it looks like it will be finally launched by few service providers in Europe soon. The GSM version had already officially announced for UK, Ireland, Germany and Spain, and now the O2 Germany has put up the email notification page on their site. According to nimsso from PreCentral, he called up O2 and was told that he could make the pre-order 2 weeks later, which will be first week of October. We should be able to see the GSM Palm Pre by October or November?

Palm today announced that the Palm Pre phone is scheduled to be available initially in the UK, Ireland and Germany exclusively on the O2 network, and in Spain exclusively on the Movistar network. Both service providers will start selling the Palm Pre by Christmas and pricing for the phone has not yet been determined.

Palm to Announce Palm Pre Release Plan for UK Next Week

300,000 units of Palm Pre, is what the analyst estimated on the sales result this week. Palm is said to have confirmed to deliver its Palm Pre to second service provider in UK and will announce the full detail next week. According to T3, the announcement will also include the date, price plan and selling price of the Palm Pre. The service provider could be either Vodafone or O2, both provides its mobile service with GSM network.

Rumor: Palm Pre Confirmed in GSM Edition?!

If you remember, My Pre (aka PreCommunity) was first spotted a Palm Pre using a GSM sim card during the Mobile World Congress in February this year. While Palm is rumored to be making another GSM Palm EOS for AT&T, the Palm Pre in GSM is leaked again in a video posted by a Vietnam site in Youtube and running on the GSM VN Mobifone network. Thanks to the team at Pre Community, a 26 minutes long walkthrough video on the Palm Pre is now available on Youtube. The Palm execs is explaining all the features and applications you can expect from the Palm Pre. Remember Pre Community also spotted a Palm Pre using GSM sim card during the Mobile World Congress.
