Officially announced last month, Sprint today has confirmed that it will start offering Palm Pixi from November 15. The Palm Pixi comes in a candybar design with hardware QWERTY keyboard. It will cost $99.99 with a two-year service agreement, after a $50 instant rebate and $100 mail-in rebate.
Not official announced for GSM yet, the Palm Pixi GSM is leaked on tinhte forum, but is 2GB less memory than the Sprint’s CDMA version. The Palm Pixi is the second webOS smartphone from Palm , check out a hands on video here on the CDMA version for more detail on its hardware. [via engadget]

For those users who wanted a GSM Palm Pre, the first GSM WebOS smartphone might be the Palm EOS / Palm Pixie leaked previously. These codenames are found in the CDMA Pre’s ROM with codename Pixie and Castle (for AT&T). The Pixie should be available in second half of this year.
