Palm has just released new software update for Palm Centro (Verizon Wireless specific), stating a minor tune-up that may improve device usability in certain situations. The software will update your Palm to version 1.03 and has been put up for download since October 29th, read the download detail here.

Palm today announced that the Palm Centro smartphone for Sprint will be available in two new soft-touch colors — Olive green and Vibrant rose. The new colors will join the popular Onyx black Centro in Sprint’s holiday lineup.
It is not unusual to see Palm Centro in different colors. Member from sprintusers forum has posted the official press photos of Palm Centro in different colors. The lime and rose color might be available on Sprint network, although there isn’t any release information available now.
If you have not updated your Sprint Palm Centro, a software update was released on July 22nd with quite a few enhancements. The software will update your Palm Centro to version 1.07 and it is only applicable for Sprint subscribers only.
Palm said it has sold its two-millionth Centro smartphone, which is now available in more than 25 countries in North America, South America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
According to the announcement on Palm’s blog, AT&T’s Centro will be available in electric blue color, the third color after the glacier white and obsidian black. This color scheme will be exclusive available starting this Friday in AT&T and www.palm.com/centro.
Palm Centro smartphone is now available unlocked for U.S. customers. Palm also announced that Google Maps for mobile with My Location on Centro is available for Centro starting tomorrow, giving customers faster access to local maps and driving directions.
