Samsung today announced the launch of a Global Developer Contest to generate new applications for Samsung’s Omnia II smartphone. The contest, which opens October 23rdand runs through December 10th, will offer up a total of US$330,000 in prize money for developers creating new applications for Samsung mobiles.
