HTC Edge Featuring Quad-Core NVIDIA Tegra 3 Processor

Folks from AndroidCommunity has received tips and pictures on the newest HTC smartphone called the Edge. The device will be the first quad-core smartphone from the company. The Edge will be a ground breaking smartphone made by HTC.

The device features a 4.7″ 1280 x 720p HD display, Beats Audio, and of course that quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. Also, there’s a 1GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 8 megapixel camera on the rear, and 2 up front for video chat. We are hoping to see Android 4.0 OS aka Ice Cream Sandwich.

LG Optimus Note Unveiled With A Dual-Core Processor

LG has produced many dual-core smartphones starting from the LG G2x to the Optimus 3D. Now, they are coming with another android handset which will obtained a dual-core processor. It would packed with QWERTY keyboard and the NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.

The device appears to have an upgraded 1.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The Optimus Note received a codename LU-6500. It features a 800 x 480 pixel WVGA resolution, HDMI support, Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, Bluetooth 3.0, a full QWERTY keyboard, an 5-megapixel camera on the back, VGA camera on the front, 8GB ROM, and 1G DDR2 RAM.

If you would like a dual-core Tegra 2 processor handset, you can hurry get the Motorola Atrix. On the other hand, if you want to experience Sprint WiMax connection, you can purchase the Nexus S 4G. Lastly, the Samsung Fascinate, if you compare to the other two handset. It might not be a great deals but if you are surely interested in it, why not get it.

Samsung Galaxy R Is Now Official

Samsung and NVIDIA has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy R. The device is the next NVIDIA Tegra 2 powered Android smartphone. This is not the first time we ever heard of the device.

The device will be clocked in at 1.0 Ghz so basically just slightly under the spec of the SGSII. It features NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1.0 Ghz processor, a 4.2″ SLCD Display, a 5 MP camera with LED Flash, a 2 MP camera on the front for video chat, 8GB internal storage, and 1GB RAM with optional 32GB micro-SD support. The Galaxy R will be available in Sweden, and is coming to other regions soon, including North & Eastern Europe, South East & West Asia, Middle East Asia, and China.

T-Mobile G2X Now On Sale

T-Mobile G2X which also known LG Optimus 2X is now available for purchase via T-Mobile’s webstore. The device will cost you $199.99 (a $50 mail-in rebate) with a two-years commitment. As most of us might have know, the G2X packed with a dual-core processor.

It features a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera and “4G” HSPA+ connectivity, along with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. The G2X will be available in T-mobile’s stores on April 20th.

Samsung Galaxy S II Further Details On Its Release Date & 1.2GHz

Samsung Galaxy S II is getting some upgrade before it’s release. The device powered with NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor and Exynos dual-core Cortex-A9. Along the side, the Galaxy S II supposedly use 1.0GHz but now it appears that the device will received a 1.2GHz when it will be launch.

The Galaxy S II will hit UK in May 6th. Followed by India on June. While US will enjoyed the device at the same times as those folks in UK.

AT&T is ow offering Motorola Atrix for pre-order. The device will cost you $199 after an instant online rebate. As for shipping, they are beginning to do so on March 6th. If you are interested to add some accessories then you can also add the Laptop Dock for $299.99 (after a $100 mail-in rebate) or the HD Media Dock which cost you $129.99.

Not only that, there’s more choices to come. You can also purchase Motorola’s Bluetooth keyboard for $69.99. If you want something more suffocated, AT&T will gladly shows you HD Media Dock, keyboard and a wireless mouse which will hit your wallet with $189.99. But if you just want standard dock then it will cost you only $49.99 while the vehicle dock is $39.99.

LG Optimus 3D Gets Leak Before MWC 2011

We have anticipating the LG Optimus 3D to be officially unveiled during MWC 2011. The device is not a secret anymore since LG’s “new dimension” teasing invite and pre-order listing by a Dutch cellphone retailer. But despite all that, we are now looking at the actually device. Phandroid‘s tipster has sent them a picture of an LG smartphone without a name. The best guess we got on our hand is the LG Optimus 3D.

Featuring a 4-inch/4.3-inch display, a nameless dual-core CPU, multi-channel memory, and a front-facing camera. Don’t be surprised to see NVIDIA’s chip inside the device. The folks from SlashGear will be at MWC to find more information on the LG Optimus 3D. We will keep in touch with them and give a further notice on it.

The latest Motorola Tegra 2 smartphone, codename “Olympus”, is said to have a 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi and bluetooth 2.1 inside. Tegra 2 smartphone is powered by a dual core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU, comes with ultra-low power (ULP) GeForce GPU for graphic related process and support 1080p video playback.
