Fujitsu Now Shipping Waterproof Cell Phone with Fingerprint Sensor

AuthenTec announced that NTT DOCOMO is now offering the Fujitsu F-01A, first fingerprint-enabled waterproof cell phone. NTT DoCoMo Announces Low Power Chipset for LTE/Super 3G

NTT DOCOMO, Renesas Technology, Fujitsu Limited, and Sharp today announced that they plan to jointly develop the SH-Mobile G4 single-chip LSI device, and a platform incorporating it, to support the HSUPA/HSDPA/W-CDMA and GSM/GPRS/EDGE (2G) mobile telephony standards.
