Nokia X6 Making its Way to South Korea

Nokia’s sending their X6, which is a music-based (like so many of them are) handset, to South Korea, beginning next month. As it stands, that makes the X6 only the third Symbian-based smartphone to reach the Southern shores. They don’t have a lot of options, even if you think about the comparisons between the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (which is one of the other devices launched in the region), but that doesn’t mean this isn’t good news.

Just like the 5800, the X6 is a music-based handset. It features a 3.2-inch, resistive touchscreen with a 360×640 resolution. It will also support regional 3G, WiFi, a 5MP autofocus camera on the back, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The battery’s also got the strength to deal out 35 hours of music playback, so that’s nothing to scoff at.

While there’s no official confirmation at the moment, it does look like the South Korean’s Nokia X6 is a “Comes with Music” handset. That’s a good thing if you’re a fan of music, because it means you’ll have direct access to Nokia’s Music Store, where you’ll be able to download tracks directly to your handset. It’ll be available in South Korea via KT, or about 595,000 KRW. So, not the cheapest handset out there, but if you’re a fan of Nokia, touchscreens, and music, you could probably do worse.

Nokia X6 Unlocked for $455 now up for Pre-Order in the USA

If you remember the Nokia X6 then you know is a nice and seductive device which people around Europe seem to like a lot and perhaps you’ll have a chance to get one. The handset is being made available to the North American market through Nokia USA and you can pre-ordered it here.

The Nokia X6 unlocked will set you back $455 and offers a few colors to choose from as well as a 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen with 640 x 360 resolution, 16.7 million colors, Accelerometer and up to 16 GB internal memory. It also comes with Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS, Ovi Maps 3.0, a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash and many more goodies.

If you visit the pre-order page for the Nokia X6 you’ll notice that it doesn’t mention anything about a ‘Comes With Music’ requirement. So go on and check it out Nokia lovers, and if you buy one let us know how much you like or dislike this handset.

Nokia X6, a Come with Music phone with 32GB internal memory is getting a 16GB version this quarter. The Nokia X6 16GB is a full touch screen phone powered by a 3.2-inch wide display in 16:9 ratio (360 x 640 pixels) and 16 million colors. The touch screen phone also comes with a 5 megapixel camera module. It does not have a Xenon flash but assisted by dual flash LED for low light photography.

Available in all black, all white, white with pink highlights and white with yellow highlights colors,the 16GB version will be sold without the Come with Music service but will come with the latest version of Symbian^1 user interface. The phone retail package will also package with Spore by EA, Asphalt4 and DJ Mix Tour by Gameloft games.

Nokia X6 Available Now in Selected Markets

Bundled with the Nokia Comes With Music service, the Nokia X6, is now available in selected markets. The Nokia X6 is expected to retail for approximately EUR 450, before taxes and subsidies.

Nokia Announces New XSeries Music Phones with X6 and X3

At the Nokia World 2009, Nokia has introduced its new XSeries music phone. It will release the Nokia X6 and the Nokia X3 in Q4 this year, the Nokia X6 should be also the device approved in the FCC this week. The Nokia X6 has an estimated retail price of EUR 450 packaged with Comes with Music service, and the Nokia X3 will be retailing for an estimated EUR 115.
