Nokia today announced that sales of the Nokia N85 and Nokia N79 have started in the United States – just in time to inject a dose of entertainment and color into your holiday season. The Nokia N85 delivers a striking fusion of design and entertainment that bursts through its stunning 2.6″ OLED display, while the Nokia N79 is bound to turn heads with its three seasonally colored Xpress-on smart covers in, red, white and brown. Nokia N85 has just got its first firmware updates, which will update your Nokia N85 to v11.047. Acording to Symbian-Freak, the new software update is now available via the Nokia Software Updater on most of the regions. Check out the change log here

The Nokia N85 is now available! According to the Nokia Blog, they have started showing up in legitimate eBay stores. For comparison reason, the lowest price that showed up initially is $668 shipped.

Nokia N85 comes with an 2.6″ OLED screen and sleek finish. It boasts N-Gage gaming, music with in-built FM transmitter, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and geotagging capabilities.

Same as Nokia N79, the Nokia N85 is also pre-loaded with at least 10 N-Gage gaming titles and a voucher to activate one full game license.

Nokia today officially announces the Nokia N85 multimedia computer, comes with an 2.6″ OLED screen and sleek finish. It boasts N-Gage gaming, music with in-built FM transmitter, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and geotagging capabilities. The Nokia N85 is expected to begin shipping in October 2008 with an estimated retail price of EUR 450, before taxes and subsidies. Each Nokia N85 comes with an 8 GB microSD card.

Same as Nokia N79, the Nokia N85 is also pre-loaded with at least 10 N-Gage gaming titles and a voucher to activate one full game license. Dedicated gaming keys light up when the device is in landscape gaming mode to further enhance the action-packed experience. A state-of-the-art 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and bright dual LED flash captures clear, sharp images as well as DVD-quality videos at 30 frames per second.

Combined with A-GPS it is possible to geotag favorite pictures to see where each photo was taken using the Nokia Maps application or online sites such as Share on Ovi or Flickr. The 3.5 mm audio jack makes connecting a top-quality headset simple and an in-built FM transmitter lets the Nokia N85 play wirelessly through a car or home stereo to really crank up the sound.

Two New Nokia Phones to be Announced on August 18

New Nokia phones are planned to be revealed next week, according to an invitation sent to media in UK. No information on the exact model name, from the invitation email you can confirm that it will be the Nseries phone.

Rumor: Nokia N85 in the Wild?!

Someone has sent Engadget an unknown Nokia NSeries slider phone with N00 model number stamped on the phone. It is told to be the Nokia N85, which comes with a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, 2 flash LED behind and a secondary video call camera.

It is still not confirmed that this model to be called N85, it will be better to put it as N00 fo now. check out next page for more photos.

Update: New photo also showing this N85 as a dual slider multimedia computer!
